Description

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable code for application features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews to learn from experienced developers and improve code quality
  • Assist in testing and debugging software applications to ensure functionality and performance
  • Contribute to both frontend and backend development tasks using modern frameworks and technologies
  • Learn and apply software development methodologies including Agile/Scrum practices
  • Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and stand-ups to understand project workflows
  • Document technical specifications, code changes, and development processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and software development trends
  • Contribute to improving development processes and team efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • Available to complete minimum 486 hours of On-the-Job Training (OJT) required
  • Working understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, or Angular)
  • Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, Deno.js, or similar)
  • Understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Knowledge of software testing practices and frameworks
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Participation in coding competitions, hackathons, or open-source projects
  • Portfolio of personal projects or GitHub contributions
